Katie Firth

Katie first joined us on work experience a few years ago... we have failed to get rid of her ever since!
She proved to be good at making tea and so was allowed to stay for the first year, turned out to be okay at washing wetsuits so was allowed to stay for the second year and since then has just become part of the furniture.
She has not entirely wasted her time here, she has worked hard and gained various qualifications.
2012 will see her promoted from running all the children's birthday parties and paddlepower courses to teaching jet ski as she has now completed her RYA PWC Instructors certificate.
Along with this she is a UKCC trainee level 2 BCU coach and should have her assessment sorted by the end of the year.
She holds a RYA Level 2 Powerboat Certificate and will be taking her pre entry test for her powerboat instructors certificate sometime this summer.
Katie is currently studying for a sports science degree at Lincoln Uni but will continue to work for activities away to pay for all the beer and pizzas a good student needs!
This summer will see her taking the lead in training seasonal coaches to run the children's parties and overseeing the paddlepower and star test awards we run.
One day she will be good enough to manager the centre... so Steve can clear off to the South of France... we live in hope!
