Our British Canoe Union instructors will introduce you to the 3 star syallabus for White Water kayaking at our training lake in Lincoln and on the nearby River Trent.

The first day includes building on paddling techniques such as efficient forward paddling, turning on the move, moving sideways, support strokes and general boat control

On day two we move onto a local river and develop your confidence on moving water. Somewhere along the way we look at deep water rescues, towing and rolling! By the end of the two day course you should be confident to control you kayak or canoe on moving water.

This course is suitable for those that have paddled before and we recommend the British Canoe Union 2 star certificate course before you tackle this one!

Please note: The NEW 3* is now discipline specific and this course is for white water kayak but is also available in canoe at our centre.
